Taco via Twitter

3406484587_44ac453818_oUsing new media to its advantage, the Kogi Korean BBQ-To-Go taco truck pulls-in upwards of 400 customers a night. The popular taco truck does no traditional advertising, but starting last November they started an immensely popular Twitter feed. Tweets are sent to the hungry and loyal followers every night so they can locate exactly where the truck is stationed for the evening. With over 11,000 followers, demand is something they’re never short of – if you happen to be in the LA area, expect a 2 hour wait before you get your $2 taco. Read the full story here.

    NPR did a story on this, too! (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=101881984) Interesting how there is definitely a medium that works for every product and price tag.
