These LED night lights were born out of the idea of serving Japanese residents during earthquake emergencies. It’s ideas like these that make the progression of technology so exciting to see evolve in everyday objects. The LEDs are firstly activated by a light sensor when the room darkens and turn on when it senses someone approaching. During the event of an earthquake and a power outage, the liteplug relies on an internal battery to power the three bright and powerful LEDs. Users can then unplug the night light and use it as a flash light if need be.
